FYXGO is the operator of the FYXGO trades platform. For any privacy questions, you can contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

We collect only the information needed to operate the FYXGO marketplace, provide our services and comply with legal obligations.

• Account details: full name, mobile number, email address and, where provided, profile photo.
• Property information: saved addresses, access notes and postcode/location data for jobs.
• Engineer information: home address, postcode, trade qualifications, insurance details, years of experience, coverage areas, documents (ID, qualifications, insurance), vehicle information and profile photo.
• Location data: when an engineer is travelling to or on an active job, we collect GPS location pings including latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed and heading so the customer can track progress and ETA.
• Photos and media: live arrival-proof photos, completion photos, job problem photos, receipts and engineer profile photos are collected through the device camera or uploaded by users.
• Payment information: card brand, last four digits, expiry date and payment tokens. Full card numbers are handled by our payment provider; we do not store complete card details.
• Job details: job description, trade type, status history, timestamps, engineer and customer identifiers, labour time, materials, charges, ratings and reviews.
• Support and communications: messages submitted through the support form, refund requests, dispute details and internal notes.
• Technical data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, browser type and limited usage data used for security and diagnostics.

• To match customer job requests with approved, nearby engineers.
• To display engineer location and ETA to the customer during an active job.
• To process payments, hold funds securely, calculate platform fees and arrange engineer payouts.
• To verify engineer identity, qualifications, insurance and approval status before they can go online.
• To provide customer support, handle complaints, disputes and refunds.
• To keep records required for tax, accounting and legal compliance.
• To improve app reliability, security and performance.

We process personal information where we have a legal basis to do so. This usually means processing is necessary to perform our contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or where you have given consent (for example, enabling location or camera access). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time through your device settings or by contacting us.

The FYXGO Android app requests location and camera permissions only for core functionality:

• Location/GPS: used only when an engineer is online or on an active job, to share live position with the customer and calculate route/ETA via Google Maps.
• Camera: used to capture live arrival proof, completion photos, receipts and engineer profile photos.

You can deny or later revoke these permissions through your device settings, but some features will not work without them.

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the following trusted service providers and when necessary to provide FYXGO services:

• Lovable Cloud / Supabase: our backend database, authentication, file storage and server infrastructure provider.
• Google Maps Platform: used for address autocomplete, geocoding, route calculation, live ETA and navigation links.
• Stripe: used to process customer payments, hold funds and arrange payouts to engineers.
• Device platform providers (Google/Android): the app is distributed through the Google Play Store and uses standard Android permissions.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety or property of FYXGO, users or others.

Personal data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure provided by Lovable Cloud / Supabase. We use Row Level Security (RLS) and role-based access controls to limit who can view or modify data. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

We keep records of jobs, payments and engineer verification documents for as long as needed for legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes.

FYXGO is designed for users in the United Kingdom. Our infrastructure providers may process data in secure data centres outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete your account and personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing such as marketing.
• Export your data in a common format.

You can manage account details, saved addresses and payment methods in the FYXGO app. For deletion or other requests, contact us using the details below.

FYXGO is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy in the app and update the “last updated” date. Continued use of FYXGO after changes means you accept the revised policy.
